Mila Kunis, 2011
Mila Kunis might have played the dark ballerina in Black Swan, but on the big night she looked heavenly in a soft lavender Elie Saab gown. The plunging neckline turned plenty of heads, as did the semi-sheer skirt. Delicate diamond earrings, a diamond bangle, and a soft up-do created her stunning look.

While the dress generated a lot of positive buzz on the red carpet, Kunis almost didn't wear it that year. "This was one of the first dresses we tried on a month ago," Kunis told MTV while on the red carpet. "Then today, it was a toss-up between this dress and another dress, and this one won."

When she was asked why she chose the lilac one, Kunis said it was a gut feeling. "I don't know. I just put it on and it felt right. The other dress was beautiful and stunning, you know. There was no wrong answer."

The lavender chiffon gown with a grosgrain ribbon waist came straight from Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring 2011 collection. The entire line was hyper-feminine, donning organza flowers, pastel hues, and soft strips of muslin. Just like Kunis on the red carpet, it was pure romance.
