The late singer LaVern Baker may be best known for topping the R&B charts, but the flamboyant soul singer was one of the first women to capture the spirit of rock 'n' roll. Tasseled dresses have had their moment on many a rock star, but this blue confection from the mid-'60s must have been one of the first.
