On May 13, 2011, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will unveil its much-anticipated exhibit "Women Who Rock," which explores the contributions of female recording artists from the 1920s through today. It includes plenty of fashion! Here's a sneak peek.

Chrissie Hynde's Leather Jacket, 1980
Chrissie Hynde sported this heavily zippered leather jacket on the cover of The Pretenders' eponymous first album. A kohl-eyed trailblazer for women in rock, Hynde and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Pretenders in 2005, despite her assertion, "It’s never been my intention to change the world or set an example for others to follow. I just wanted to play guitar in a rock and roll band and make music that people could dig.”
