Ruth Brown's Dress, 1988
Ruth Brown was yet another R&B star who managed to cross over onto the rock 'n' roll charts, scoring minor hits with “Lucky Lips” and “This Little Girl’s Gone Rockin'" in the 1950s. Brown was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
