Why it Works: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

If we looked like Victoria's Secret angel and Transformers: Dark of the Moon damsel-in-undress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, we might consider boycotting real clothes in favor of lingerie. And judging from this slinky slip-like dress, she is way ahead of us. But the reason why this look works goes beyond the fact that Huntington-Whiteley has the physique to capture Michael Bay's attention. Allow us to elaborate.

The Dress: A cross between a 1940s slip and a shirt dress, Huntington-Whiteley's frock has a thrilling, half-clothed in broad daylight vibe, while somehow managing to remain effortlessly classy—almost demure. Maybe it's that super-skinny belt. You don't belt frilly undergarments.

The Hair: A modern take on Veronica Lake. Makes us want to cover half of our face with our own locks—and not just because we woke up with an unsightly blemish.

The Shoes: Huntington-Whiteley's heeled sandals have a razor sharp "nice dominatrix" vibe to them. We love the thick cut-out fastens at the ankle: the chunky effect is an urbane counterpoint to her delicate, boudoir-ready ensemble.

The Bag: A white hot number with a vintage doctor's bag silhouette—just in case she stops any hearts on the way to Angels HQ.
