From a couture ball gown to a '60s mod mini, there's a little something for everyone in this week's style showdown.

Diane Kruger's Dior lace windowpane dress was the finale rack at the close of the Cannes Film Festival. While her slew of to-die-for dresses will hang forever in our fantasy closets, she truly did save the best for last.

Next up was Lea Michele, who melded her posing powers with the fearless glamour of Zac Posen's off-the-shoulder mermaid gown. The Glee star never leaves home without a heavy dose of Broadway. Meanwhile, Krysten Ritter leaned toward Fifty Shades of Grey on the red carpet of the True Blood season premiere in her leather-adorned Alexander McQueen LBD.

Alexa Chung was the most low-key of the bunch, but it's the subtlety of her quirky looks that makes her a street style icon. Who else would think to pair a black-and-white shift dress with a tropical flamingo clutch? And finally, Ms. Charlize Theron closed out the week with a galactic blue cocktail dress at the world premiere of Prometheus, mere seconds, it seems, after her screening tour of Snow White and the Huntsman.
