Diane Kruger brought it at the Berlin Film Festival in a stunning couture gown. (Getty)With New York Fashion Week kicking into gear, it's no surprise there was some fierce competition for BDOTW. The dark drama of Scarlett Johansson's sombre Calvin Klein dress was quickly countered by Rachel McAdams' wintery mint Vivienne Westwood cocktail dress.
Thandie Newton never misses a beat with her red carpet looks, proving her consistently on-point style with an Osman Grecian design for the Laureus World Sports Awards.
The standout gowns of the week, however, came Thursday and Friday from Sarah Jessica Parker and Diane Kruger. SJP's Oscar de la Renta confection pulled at the heartstrings of SATC fans while Diane's opulent Giambattista Valli Couture number in Berlin made fashion magic.
