We found ourselves spinning the globe to find our favorite looks this week, picking out contenders from New York, LA, London, and (of course) Cannes.

First up is Alexa Chung, who hit the streets of New York in a summery Orla Kiely dress that reminded us why we care what this style guru wears on the street. Meanwhile across the Pond: Nicole Richie hit the FiFi Awards in London wearing an Emilio Pucci number with business in the front and a big frilly party in the back.

Cameron Diaz brought her California girl charm to the UK premiere of What to Expect When You're Expecting. She ditched the usual red carpet gown for a crisp white Stella McCartney jumpsuit with some blingy teardrop earrings. Back in California, Carrie Underwood sparkled like a star in her Badgley Mischka Orion sequined sheath at the American Idol finale.

Finally, you knew we had to include one of the many eye-catching looks from Cannes, and how could we ignore Milla Jovovich's space-age Atelier Versace dress? She looked great, even if it's one of those risky dresses that's a coin-flip away from a worst dressed list.
