There comes a time in the life of every celebrity when she must face the fashion faux-pas of her past. Today she may be a pristinely groomed, impeccably styled, highly trained media swan but back in the day, well, she was just a cute little duckling. So we asked our guest editor, designer and all-round fashionista Whitney Port, what is your ultimate red carpet regret?

To this one Hills premiere, I wore this red dress with black polka-dots all over it. I looked like a lady bug, and wore black stockings and my hair in really tight curls. I don't know what I was thinking, but obviously at the time I thought it was acceptable!

There there, Whitney. It's not so bad. We loved you in Ladybugs on Ice! And just look how you've spread your sartorial wings since then!

Whitney told StyleBistro that this look, a daisy-print 70s-style gown with sheer bell sleeves by Zac Posen, is her favorite red carpet look to date. She says, "I just remember feeling very glamorous that night."
