What to Wear: SantaCon

For those whose advent calendars aren't quite up to date, this weekend heralds the annual worldwide observance of the Party City-sponsored phenomenon known as SantaCon. This basically entails a mob of pro-costume people dressing up as Santa Claus—either a loose interpretation, or a Miracle on 34th Street-style one—and descending on a specific part of town to share a yuletide beverage, then cavort in the street in costume (sometimes for a charitable cause). This happens in cities across the globe.

As you can tell from the New York reveler pictured above left, said costume is open to interpretation.  If, like her, you want to throw Santa Claus's suit into a sartorial blender with the '90s raver flick Go, you are most welcome to do so. But if, like us, you'd prefer a more subtle, less-velveteen interpretation, we've curated a White Stripes-themed capsule collection below comprising candycane-hued separates for a jolly, yet flammable-beard-free look.

And if this still doesn't float your sleigh, there's always that Duck Hunter Santa option.
