What to Wear: Stranded at the Airport

(Photos: Kate Spade Saturday, Land's End)

No one plans on getting stranded at the airport—like developing an addiction to the TLC show Secret Princes, it just happens. And when you're traveling during the holidays, there's always a chance that the festive White Christmas everyone sings about (we're looking at you Bing Crosby, Michael Bublé, and the cast of GLEE) will turn your layover into a sleepover—or at the very least, a catnap.

In anticipation of this possibility, we've put together a trio of power-travel must-haves. We're talking super-chic patterned weekenders equipped to stash all of your necessities, blanket-size scarves designed to transition from wrap to airport chair throw, moccasins (more respectable than slippers), and slouchy pants that feel like heaven without making you look like the opposite—because a lady must keep up appearances at the airport bar, should the situation demand an Old Fashioned or two.
