So Many Stripes, So Little Time

As any self-respecting sailor or Frenchman will tell you, horizontal stripes aren't exactly a new fashion trend. Lately, however, we've been seeing a welcome resurgence of this nautical-inspired mainstay, particularly on long-sleeved T-shirts and blouses. We all loved Kate Middleton's stripes on the volleyball court. And recently, actress Rose Byrne and TV personality Padma Lakshmi both sported stripes on the red carpet while attending the LAByrinth Theater Company Celebrity Charades Benefit Gala in New York.

It's no wonder the stripes are taking over. They're timeless, stylish, easy to wear, and can be paired with other staples for a variety of camera-ready looks. (Think jeans, blazer, even leggings.)
