Sudanese beauty Ajak Deng was born in Tonj, Sudan and moved to northern Kenya as a refugee in 2001. In 2009, she signed with IMG in New York and a year later became one of the faces of multi-cultural brand Benetton. She has graced the runways for top designers such as Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Chloé and Valentino. In March 2011, Ajak appeared in a Vogue editorial photographed by the famed Norma Jean Roy.
