#TBT: When Miroslava Duma Dazzled in Marigold

(Source: PacificCoastNews.com)Miroslava Duma has made a career of looking fabulous. The former Harper's Bazaar Russia editor and founder of Buro 24/7 has graced fashion blogs and the glossy pages of international magazines as much for her own style as for her business acumen, and it's easy to see why. The petite beauty seems to have unlimited access to of-the-moment designs, which she pairs with quirky accessories and a flair all her own.

Last July, she arrived at the Giambattista Valli Haute Couture fashion show in Paris wearing an in-vogue dress from Stella McCartney that looked as though it had been made for her.

The color combination is artful. Black heels would have brought to mind bumble bees, and even colors such as cobalt or pink would have felt too loud. Salmon and marigold complement each other in a subtle way, like the palette of a Matisse painting.

Simple makeup, like the focus on one feature (her eyes), adds to the simple elegance of this look, which has us yearning for summer days and chiffon dresses.
