(Courtesy of Shopbop x SoulCycle: I Love Soul Cropped Tee, $48; SoulCycle Happiness Shorts, $78; Skull Heart Soul Sweatshirt, $94) SoulCycle is a major craze among fitness junkies and celebrities—including Christie Brinkley, who recently gave us the lowdown on how to maintain chic hair during workouts—and it may soon take over the fashion world as well… at least in the activewear market. The bi-coastal chain has collaborated with Shopbop on a new line of workout apparel, which was released today.
“We were thinking about our girl and her lifestyle and SoulCycle kept coming to mind,” Shopbop’s fashion director Elle Strauss told WWD. “SoulCycle has transformed the fitness world and it was exciting to bring their point of view to a loungewear collection that our girl will love to wear to and from her workout.” The collection marks the first time the e-tailer has collaborated with a fitness chain.
SoulCycle boasts 25 studios (18 on the East coast and seven on the West coast). Before their latest collaboration, the fitness center relied solely on its own web platform to introduce their workout apparel, debuting new collections with unique themes each month. One emblem that remains consistent is their signature skull logo, which can also be found in the new Shopbop line. The exclusive 13-piece collection ranges from $48 to $136, and can be found here.
