Karl Lagerfeld Opens a Rock 'n' Roll Pop-up Shop at Colette

Karl Lagerfeld Pop-up shops are all the rage and Karl Lagerfeld isn't about to be left out of retail's hottest trend. He has teamed up with Colette for a rock-n'-roll themed store at 336-340 Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. It will feature graffiti-covered Chanel bags, helmets and CDs and current-season Chanel merchandise. There will also be a nail bar, cupcake stand and collectible doll for those who want to bask in the glory of the Kaiser's genius.


Stefano Pilati is sticking around, for at least another season
Rumors about Stefano Pilati leaving YSL have been swirling all week. Hedi Slimane was supposed to take over and hire Carine Roitfeld as a consultant. But never fear, YSL cleared everything up by tweeting that Stefano wasn't leaving and was, in fact, hard at work on the next collection. But rumors are usually never completely unfounded, what about the collection after next?



See Rodarte's Black Swan costumes at MOCA
There was so much controversy surrounding the Black Swan costumes that it was easy to forget how ridiculously beautiful the actual pieces were. Luckily, someone remembered, and has included them in an upcoming exhibit Rodarte: States of Matter at the Museum of Contemporary Art in West Hollywood. Six tutus will be featured on custom nearly invisible mannequins with built-in motors to spin them every minute.
