Elie Tahari Emmy bag Elie Tahari respects Emmy Rossum's taste so much, he asked her to design a bag for him. The Emmy bucket bag is essentially her ideal bag and she was very hands on in the design process. It comes in four sizes and is at $398 to $798. The bags will be available in March and a portion of all proceeds will go to the Safe Horizon charity.
Elle Magazine owned by Hearst
Elle Magazine has been sold to Hearst publishing, along with all other titles owned by Lagardère. The deal, expected to close this year and worth $885.6 million, includes 102 titles and a master license agreement for the Elle trademark. Lagardere will retain ownership of the Elle trademark and plans to continue overseeing brand consistency over the 15 worldwide editions.
It's judgement day for American Apparel today. Their EBITDA, meaning cash flow and ability to pay off debts, is being evaluated and if they do not hit the $20 million mark, they'll have to amend their loan agreement with Lion Capital or go into default.
