Two Cleansing Morning Juice Recipes to Try This Weekend

Best of all, you don't even have to get out of your PJs to enjoy the invigorating benefits of starting your day with a homemade concoction. We asked health coach Marissa Vicario, the founder of Marissa's Well-being and Health, for her favorite morning juice and tonic recipes. It's easy to make these at home. 

Morning Zinger
1 grapefruit, peel removed
3 carrots
1 inch fresh ginger

Pass all ingredients through a juicer. Stir and serve immediately.

Morning Tonic
"I make this every morning. It's the best way I know to start your day, re-set your digestive system after its overnight rest and prepare it for solid food."

1 inch ginger, grated
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar 
A dash of cayenne pepper 
6 ounces hot (not boiling) water 

Mix all ingredients in a mug and add the hot water.
