Six Spring Lip Colors To Try ASAP

(Source: ImaxTree)Revamp your spring makeup with one simple pop of color. A bright and bold lipstick is an easy way to refresh your look instantly. We scouted out the six prettiest pouts from the spring 2014 runways and found their matching lip colors, so you can re-create a similar look at home. The best part: Each lipstick is $30 or less!

The Look: Petal Pink
Nothing says sweet spring like a pop of pink. This true pink lip from Badgley Mischka reminds us of a soft rose petal.

Try It: To get a similar sweet pucker, try a soft, matte color. We like Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Sky Pink ($6.99, walgreens.com).

This hue has been a celeb favorite for a while now. We've spotted the look on stars such as Emmy Rossum, Mena Suvari, and more. And when we saw this version at Prabal Gurung's spring runway show, we knew we had to give this trend a go.

Try It:
To replicate this touch of lavender, opt for a matte lip color in a purple shade that contains pink undertones. We're liking NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Paimpol ($25, narscosmetics.com) for that cool, clean look.

You don't always need a bold lipstick to make a statement–a nude lip can be just as powerful. These flesh-toned pouts at Giambattista Valli gave us major lip envy.

Try It: Enhance your lips' own natural pink tones with a boost from Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream in Nude Beach ($22, ulta.com).

Dark lips needn't be reserved for fall: Give your sultry pout a springtime twist with an electric shade of purple. Models at Nicole Miller unleashed their inner rockers with this punchy hue.

Try It: This look might be one of our favorites for warmer temps. And lucky for us, it's totally recreatable and affordable with Maybelline's Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor in Brazen Berry ($5.59, target.com).

The classic ladylike red lip is coming back in full force this spring—just look at the models at Antonio Berardi. Get your liner and lipstick ready, because it's time to go red.

Try It: Capture this perfectly lined pout with a crisp and clean crimson color. We love Bobbi Brown's Creamy Matte Lip Color in Red Carpet ($24, sephora.com) for the ultimate diva smooch.

Give orange lipstick a twist with a juicy shade of apricot. The peachy hue, as seen here at  Dsquared², is a perfect blend between playful and luscious.

Try It: The adorable citrus hue is warm, playful, and definitely worth the challenge of trying. Give it a shot at home with one of our favorite drugstore finds, L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Coral Tattoo ($9.99, drugstore.com).
