Stars Go Green on the Red Carpet at the Oscars

When director James Cameron was promoting his blockbuster Avatar (nominated for Best Motion Picture in 2010), his wife started the project to raise awareness about clothing made from sustainable materials, specifically in the form of glamorous gowns. While the Twilight star's tux was designed by Jomnarn Dul, Kuryelenko's backless off-red gown with a pleated ruffle shoulder and asymmetrical cutout was created by fashion student and contest winner Alice Elia.
