Absolutely Fabulous, THE MOVIE, is Happening

Die-hard Patsy Stone and Edina Monsoon fans, hold on to your Lacroix pants—because Absolutely Fabulous, the movie, is finally, definitely happening.
"We've talked about it, Jennifer [Saunders] is writing the film," Joanna Lumley (Patsy) told The Telegraph. "Although yesterday the press were saying it's a musical now! But whatever it is, I'll be there."
Whether it's a musical or a movie, we're sure it'll be a big hit with AbFab fans. The early-90s series followed the fabulous fashion-farce lives of Stone and Monsoon as they dabbled in fashion magazines and celebrity PR—sort of a Zoolander before Zoolander. The three-part 20th anniversary special that aired in the run-up to the 2012 London Olympics was also a runaway success.
