What to Wear: Last Chance Picnic

(Photos: Madewell, Zara)

You may have noticed that the weather has taken a turn. And with this climate shift comes, as always, the changing of the clocks—that love-it-or-hate-it enabler of leaving work early because it's dark, but losing motivation to do anything because it's already dark.

It also signals a once a year opportunity for the ultimate, last-ditch autumnal picnic—be it a windswept beachy affair, or an outing to your local park, complete with an atmospheric burnished-leaf background.

We've decided said event merits it's very own ensemble: so throw on Madewell's adorable blanket-riffing dress with tights and a parka, pack up the red wine and cheese, and dine alfresco one more time in 2013 before the clocks turn back.
