Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton swept on some soft neutral shades of shadow for a visit to Leicester, England. The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her subtle use of makeup and the sophisticated cool brown hues added the perfect amount of polish to her fresh-faced look.
To recreate Kate's refined eye-enhancing style, begin by prepping lids with a primer like
Benefit Stay Don't Stray. Next, apply a soft taupe or ivory shadow over entire upper lids, adding a darker version to creases and blending. The
Covergirl Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows in Shimmering Sands contains neutral shadows in three different tones and finishes.
To finish the look, line both the upper and lower lash lines with a rich brown shadow or eye pencil. To soften any harsh lines, gently smudge with fingertips or a cotton-tipped applicator and then apply a couple coats of black mascara.
We've spotted other celebrities with a similar look, including Chanel Iman, Aishwarya Rai, and Rihanna. Check out all 134 pictures in the
Neutral Eyeshadow Lookbook.
