Rebecca Taylor took her romantic style down a darker path for fall, giving a moody color palette a girlish sensibility with a smattering of rhinestones and delicate patterns.

Texture was key to the New Zealand-born designer, who in one look layered a leather vest over a two-tone blazer and a color-blocked sweater. To avoid a heavy feel, quilted jackets and chunky sweaters were balanced by wispy chiffon skirts and dresses.

Leaving no detail overlooked, Rebecca gave her appropriately autumnal collection a distinctly downtown vibe with studs, python prints, furry buckled booties and oversize charcoal bags.
