Now there's the old Jenny Humphrey we knew and loved!Former Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen, who usually steps out in grungy, gothic, and generally gross get-ups, looked lovely in a sophisticated lace dress at the Marchesa fashion show in New York City on Tuesday. The 18-year-old still wore her usual kohl-rimmed eyes, but pulled her platinum blond locks into an elegant loose updo.
But don't expect Momsen to keep up this new and improved look. The Pretty Reckless singer recently talked to FHM UK about her style, including her favorite kind of shoes: stripper heels.
"I love stripper shoes and I always try to find the tallest ones. I'm always surprised no one talks about my shoes," she told the magazine. "I'm, like, on stage in 15-inch heels but people talk more about my eye make-up, which has stayed the same forever. I always think that's funny."
Gossip Girl fans will be thrilled that she did not, however, wear knee-high platforms to the Marchesa show, instead picking out an actually tasteful pair of nude pumps. So welcome back, Jenny! However brief your stay might be.
