RACHEL COMEY
It's always wonderfully feminine at Rachel Comey without being overly froufy. Girly frocks were kept from going over the edge with hints of hard detailing and masculine touches. Her adept use of unique yet subtle prints shine through again this season with variations on a plaid, poppy and Art Deco-inspired design. The key color palette was a muted combination of brown, mustard, white, sky blue, and black.

BENSONI
Contrast was the name of the game at Bensoni. Bright yellow played next to hot pink, while pheasant-printed chiffon made nice with stripes. Heidi hair aside, the collection featured fun, lively summertime items for the more adventurous fashionista.

VENA CAVA
Vena Cava's distinct tailoring and geometric detailing continued to play out in their spring collection. In a neutral palette of navy, cream and black, clean-cut lines on flowy fabrics made for an overall relaxed feeling. Pops of bright orange, sky blue, and ditzy prints added a shot of life into the collection.

CHRISTIAN SIRIANO
Eye-catching shades of red, white, brown and electric blue made up the color palette at Christian Siriano. Sleek, sexy secretarial silhouettes dominated—with the occasional dramatic gown of course. Leather skirts, shorts, pants and capes were stamped and printed with snake skin, showing that clearly leather is here to stay for another season.

RICHARD CHAI
Richard Chai took a neutral, loose and layered approach to his spring designs. In shades of mostly off-white, brown and ink blue, he appeared to be aiming for the urban bohemian. Sheer and gauzy tops were mixed with airy linens. Pieces were easily mixed and matched for a lightweight overall feeling.

NICHOLAS K
Nicholas K's show was a clear reference to the early 90s and Marc Jacobs for Perry Ellis. The clothes were grunge exemplified with tons of plaid, army green, sweat pants and combat boots. A twist on the Alexander Wang side braid, except in a fishtail was the key hair look.
