Rachel Roy's fall collection was designed for the career woman who doesn't have hours to ponder what she's going to wear every day. Her new line of demure, wearable work clothes make a big splash without all the fuss.
Fuzzy sweaters and silky blouses looked comfortable and inviting, especially when paired with cropped trousers and midi skirts. It's easy to imagine taking these gorgeously printed sheaths from the office to happy hour. Even the accessories, which included lime scarves, floppy hats and Roy's new line of shoes, balanced form with function.
The color palette, which Roy drew from the titular "Modern Landscape," was perhaps the show's most distinguishing quality. This meant lots of deep plums, teals, fuchsias and rusts to liven up the old 9-to-5 routine.
