(Photos courtesy of imPRESS)If you're still looking for just the perfect manicure to get you in the Halloween spirit without going too over the top, we've got you covered.
Back in September, we were backstage at the Katie Gallagher Spring 2014 runway show, and we got the low down on how to get the coolest 3D nails, using only press-on nails! The result: tri-colored modified diamond nails that just scream '80s rock star—in the best possible way. Try this cool look for Halloween—or just for fun. See the steps straight from manicurist Casey Herman, below.

Prior to applying any of the nails, clean natural nails with the included prep pad. Then apply imPRESS nails in "High Hopes" to create the light pink base color for all 10 fingers. (Note: This is just a suggestion. Feel free to use whatever color you want for your base.)
Alternate using imPRESS nails in "All Fired Up" (an all-black color) and "So, So Stellar" (a metallic gray color). Select the imPRESS shade of choice and match it to the same size of nail your base color. Next, starting at the rounded cuticle side of the nail, cut diagonally with scissors on either side to create a V shape. Repeat this step on the other side of the nail to create a longer diagonal cut. Once, you've cut the nail to your liking, peel off the adhesive tab on the back of the nail and adhere it to the pink base nail. This will make the second layer of the design.
To create the final layer, repeat step two using the third imPRESS nail shade. (Example: If you used "All Fired Up" in step two, use "So, So Stellar" in step three.) When cutting the third layer of the design, be sure to cut the nail into a smaller diamond shape so that it can fit inside the previous layer.
Finish off the almond-shaped look by filing the base nail. The finished product should look a little something like this:
