(Photo via HungerGames.com) The scene where Katniss volunteers to go into the Hunger Games still gives me chills!I have a confession to make. I'm a huge — no really, huge — geek when it comes to the Hunger Games. Way back before Jennifer Lawrence was ever Katniss Everdeen, back even before the third book hit shelves, I saw this weird fan thing on Twitter where you could sign up to be a citizen of Panem. Obviously, I had to do it. (Fun, or not so fun, fact: I was cast into District 2!) My
fandom obsession didn't stop there. I also registered to be a member of the "Capitol Couture" club. Yes, that's exactly what it sounds like, it's an official
Hunger Games fashion club! (Are you laughing at me yet?)
To be honest, I kind of forgot about my membership — for shame, I know! — that is, until today, when I received
this in an email titled, "Introducing the Capitol Portraits."

Are you ready for this?
BEHOLD: the first-ever
Catching Fire Capitol Portrait starring the one-and-only Effie Trinket!

According to the
Capitol Couture website — yes, there's a website — "Effie enchants in an exploding silhouette of chiffon and organza blooms. Never one to waver in her fashionable footwear, her heel-less boots are shod with a golden horse-shoe platform."
There's also a countdown on the site that's ticking down the time until the next portrait in the series is released. From the looks of it, the next one goes live at 6 p.m. (ET). You
know, I'll be watching the clock — Katniss has got to pop up some time!
Are you a major
Hunger Games fan, too? Did I oversell the coolness of this whole thing in the headline? I'm dying to know your thoughts! Sound off in the comments, below.
