The Surf Is Stormy for Gisele and Givenchy

Gisele (Imax Tree)Gisele Bundchen's impossibly long list of modeling campaigns just got longer. After walking in the Givenchy Spring 2012 show, it was no surprise to see the Brazilian supermodel front and center in the brand's latest ad.
Although she's modeling the label's Spring/Summer collection, the setting is ominously dark and stormy. But then so are some of the pieces in the provocatively sumptuous line.
While the cloudy beach setting may appear to be completely random or a playful juxtaposition (like heels in the sand), the theme makes perfect sense considering Riccardo Tisci's source of inspiration. For his Paris Spring '12 show, the designer explained that surfers and mermaids were the influence behind his shining fishtail suits and shark tooth medallions. At any rate, Gisele's leggy ads are certain to make a splash.
