Bar Refaeli's Agency Claims She Did Not Tweet About 'Hungry' Models

Despite the fact that the now-defunct Twitter handle IamBarRefaeli posted intimate, behind-the-scenes pictures like this, this and this, One Model Management insists that it was not the Israeli supermodel but an impostor who made headlines last week when she tweeted, "I get so sad when I see 15-year-old pale extremely skinny models at the agency looking all shaky and hungry .... when will it end?!?!?"

Refaeli allegedly commented on the frailty of the young models at her agency on Monday. The comment, along with insights about addictions to pomegranate juice and disapproval of plastic surgery, quickly made the rounds on a series of blogs. At some point, the account was made private, and then—poof!—suspended.

It's too bad the incident was handled this way. The disappearance of the account, and One Model Management's subsequent denial that it ever belonged to Bar in the first place, are making this a much bigger story than it might have been.
