Jennifer Lawrence Once Modeled for This Mall Brand—Can You Guess?

Waaaay before Jennifer Lawrence landed her role as girl on fire, Catniss Everdeen, she posed in campaigns for "this" retail chain — can you guess? — Abercrombie & Fitch! The actress opened up about her short-lived modeling career with the high-school-beloved brand last night on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Sadly (for us at least!) the snaps from her football-themed photoshoot with A&F were never released. "Model footballing," JLaw explained, is quite different from actual footballing — meaning, instead of ending up with soft-core, you know, type poses, Lawrence looked a little more something like this:

(Photo via Conan O'Brien) JLaw's football face. Get at her!

"There was this girl who was just about to catch a football, and behind her I was all like flared nostrils, red face, my hair was going everywhere, and I was going, 'Rawwwwr!' At one point she screamed, 'Get her away from me!'" the actress told Conan.

We knew we loved her for a reason. (Or 100.)

Watch JLaw describe her short stint as a model in the clip, below, and try not to giggle:
