Karlie Kloss Is Designing Jeans for the 'Freakishly Tall'

(Frame)

Karlie Kloss has teamed up with denim label Frame on a line of jeans for the "freakishly tall," set to launch at Barneys, Net-A-Porter, Ron Herman, and Jeffrey this June.

How tall is "freakishly tall"? Well, according to Kloss's agency card, she's 5'11, while Vogue puts the model at 6'1.

"Finding pants that fit is something I've struggled with my whole life," she said. "My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could! It wasn't until I started modeling at fifteen that I even realized what well-fitting clothes felt like."

Kloss is putting her name on two styles of Frame jeans — one skinny ($209) and one flared ($219), and both are available in dark and light washes. What sets them apart from other "tall" styles is the 40-inch inseam — most brands stop at 35 or 36.

According to the photos above, they're long enough that Kloss might even have to hem them an inch or two, depending on which shoes she decides to wear  — a problem we thought models were exempt from.
