This weekend, The Sun posted an article with the headline, 'Fears Over Model Cara Delevingne's Mystery Powder.'
And no, they're not implying that she swipes packets of Splenda and that fancy-ish brown sugar from Starbucks, although, those do come in handy when you're grabbing coffee from a cart that only offers SweetN'Low.
According to the tabloid, Delevingne dropped a baggie full of what looked to be cocaine as she was trying to get into her house in London.
A photographer, who took pictures of the incident, explains:
“She was trying to get inside her house. She said, ‘I’ve lost my keys guys, I’ve lost my keys’. She was really giggly. She found it hilarious but her friend was really edgy about it. Suddenly Cara dropped something and bent over to pick it up. Very discreetly, she just put her foot on it and then rolled her handbag across so it looked like she was just kind of bending over.”
Of course, the paparazzi went crazy, snapping about a million photos. And now, The Daily Mail reports, H&M is “investigating Miss Delevingne, whom it employed earlier this year as the face of its Divided clothing range.”
The retailer doesn't take this sort of thing lightly. Remember how they fired Kate Moss for her coke scandal? And, if the substance was cocaine, it's almost worse for Delevingne, because unlike Kate Moss, she mainly markets products to teens. (She is the first face of Miss Vogue, the UK's answer to Teen Vogue, after all.)
But, you know, it's just a tabloid photo. In a publication whose other headlines include "Simon Cowell's a Tosser" and "It's RIH-lly Over: Birthday Boy Chris Brown Confirms Split." Also, waterskiing babies. So, take the accusations with a grain of your chosen powdery white substance.
