Model Helena Christensen Designs Tote Bag for Charity

Danish fashion model Helena Christensen is most often recognized for her work on the runway, but this former Victoria's Secret Angel is trying her hand at design.

Christensen teamed up with Chic Outlet Shopping (a collection of luxury shopping villages in Europe) to raise money for the fight against AIDS. The 44-year-old beauty designed a special edition tote bag for (RED), a charity dedicated to helping fight AIDS across the globe.

The bag features an illustration of black flowers against a bright red background. On the opposite side, the saying "(RED) is the new black" is featured. Proceeds from the sale of the bag will go towards The Global Fund to fight AIDS.

Take a look at the inspiring tote here:

The (RED) is the New Black tote will be available February 2013 at Chic Outlet Shopping.
