"I was shocked to learn that heart disease is more deadly than all forms of cancer combined," Janney says. "I'm now making heart healthy changes to reduce my own risk and have joined with Go Red For Women to educate other women about what they can do. Together, women have the power to save our own lives." Janney's own mother underwent quadruple bypass surgery.

But Janney isn't the only celebrity lending their name and time to the cause. Star Jones will help kick off National Wear Red Day on January 31 at Macy's in Herald Square in NYC with some of Broadway's top stars. There will also be a lighting ceremony that night at Macy's, which is a national sponsor for the cause and has raised $40 million since 2004 to support the cause.
Celebrity stylist and host of What Not To WearClinton Kelly is doing his part to fight heart disease, too. Kelly recorded videos along with Macy's showing women how to make wearing red fun and bold. The videos also feature four women who were personally affected by heart disease. See why these women say you should go red:
