Anne Hathaway hit the red carpet of the Kennedy Center Honors Gala in Washington, DC, one name came to mind: Audrey Hepburn. Just as the late actress was wont to do, Anne dramatized her fair skin with a black column dress, bold red lips and a matching manicure.
The
Giambattista Valli number had a gathered asymmetrical bodice and faux-wrap skirt, giving it a more updated look. While the designer is famous for his use of texture and highly saturated hues, the brunette went with a more classic style for the occasion.
She added a touch of sparkle with Fred Leighton's antique diamond star choker, stud earrings and bangle bracelet. A classic black clutch and satin platforms completed her accessories for the evening, while a romantic swept-back 'do gracefully showed off her dramatic eyes and lips.
