Like her stylist, Cher Coulter, told StyleBistro, "{Kate's style is} very comfortable in the daytime, she's not one to overdo it. She never looks uncomfortable, she looks happy in what she's wearing, she looks fun and fashionable." This applies perfectly to to this summery lunch ensemble with her boyfriend, Michael Polish, where she wore her favorite scalloped Chloé shorts with a sleeveless iridescent H&M blouse.
Accessories were key here, her white cross-body bag and casual flat leather sandals gave the impression this was not overly calculated. Alternately, high-heels and a clutch would have risked her looking like she was trying too hard—and trying too hard is not part of Ms. Bosworth's dressing vocabulary.
