(Getty)Jessica Chastain doesn't always get it right on the red carpet, but for the 40th anniversary celebration of Charlie Chaplin's Honorary Academy Award, she nailed it. From her shoulder length curls to this phenomenal gown, she looked exquisite.
Wearing Elie Saab is practically foolproof—the designer has mastered the melding of sultry and romantic like no other. It didn't hurt that Jessica chose this rich color, an unexpected but charming evening hue.
We can only hope she matches the caliber of this look at the Oscars come Sunday. Having been told of her nomination at Armani Privé's serpentine-themed show, I have a hunch she'll be wearing green again. Perhaps the couturier's tiered finale dress will fit the bill.
