Look of the Day: Milla Jovovich's Futuristic Space Gown

(Getty Images)When Milla Jovovich swung by the 2012 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS event, she looked like she could have just come from filming a sequel to The Fifth Element. Her futuristic Atelier Versace gown certainly had its share of costume-y space-age details, but the overall effect was pure Milla.
The actress is known for her red carpet risk-taking and broad range of style choices. She's managed to pull off everything from an edgy strapless black leather bandage dress to ultra-feminine ensembles featuring flowing gowns in unusual fabrics.
What makes Milla's looks so unique, however, is her styling. Even with all the architectural details (and metallic gold boning, no less) she was daring enough to incorporate bold accessories, too. She added a statement animal print clutch and enormous cocktail ring, both from Swarovski, along with glimmering Sergio Rossi pumps and a big jewel encrusted barrette.
