Look of the Day: Blake Lively in Marchesa

Blake Lively and Anna WintourBlake Lively was the center of attention at last night's Fashion's Night Out fashion show in a bright yellow-and-navy, ethnic print Marchesa strapless dress. It isn't often Marchesa creates something that isn't frilly and distinctly girly, but clearly it's something they should be doing more often.
The fab frock looked screen printed from afar, but a closer inspection revealed the dress was fully beaded! With the use of an array of beads and sequins, Marchesa's signature intricate craftmanship shone through. Blake paired her stunning dress with several bangles and simple black Christian Louboutin pumps. Topped off with a simple ponytail and low-key makeup, this look is a definite win.
We would have loved to see a strappy sandal in place of a pump in this outfit, but with a dress like that it's really hard to care what's on your feet.
