Look of the Day: Natalie Portman in Rodarte

Natalie Portman (Getty)It's no surprise that Natalie Portman looked breathtaking at the Venice Film Festival premiere of her latest film, Black Swan, nor that she chose to wear Rodarte (designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy did create the ballet costumes featured in the film, after all). But it's safe to say that the glorious crimson gown Natalie donned exceeded all expectations.
Portman looked like a modern goddess in an ethereal silk tulle with a ruched bodice intricately embellished with Swarovski crystals. The gown, which has a similar feel to the gorgeous magenta Rodarte piece Natalie wore to the 2009 Oscars, also featured a surprisingly sexy slit up the center of the skirt.
Natalie matched the drama of her dress with her beauty signatures: smoky eyes, an elegant updo and enviable poise.
