So it was a delightful surprise to see her amp up the girly glam for the Paris premiere of My Week With Marilyn.
This sort of creation could only come from the decadent feminine vigor of a Christian Dior collection. The trailing ombre petal pink gown no doubt pleased her Parisian fans.
It was Michelle's Jean Seberg 'do that made this look modern. Long curls or a romantic updo would have taken this princess style too far.
