Kate Middleton was a modern princess as she said wed Prince William in a delightful diamond tiara lent to her by the Queen, a royal tradition. The tiara in question is the 1936 Halo tiara by Cartier. It's petite, but crafted from platinum and completely encrusted in diamonds. It was first seen through Kate's sheer veil, then fully revealed as she lifted the veil over her head.
