popped the question to long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton with his mother's jawdropping 18-carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring. However, the ring originally did not belong to him.
After Princess Diana's passing, it was Prince Harry
who was given his mother's famous engagement ring. The brothers reportedly agreed that whomever became engaged first would use the ring.
