To duplicate the 'do, add additional texture to straighter hair with a curling iron, or braid wet hair and let it air dry to create a similarly crimped pattern. Spritzing on Bumble and bumble Surf Spray will also add to the sandy, beachy feel of tresses and create that romantic, bohemian effect.

Next, make a center part and section out two two-inch face-framing pieces. Then, tousle the rest of the hair with fingertips and loosely pull it back into a low ponytail, securing at the nape of the neck with a hair elastic. Draw out a two-inch section from the underside of the ponytail, twist it loosely and wrap it around the hair elastic. Tug a little on the wrapped strands to expand the area it covers and then use a few bobby pins to secure.
