Choose a side to start the braid, positioning it directly between the ear and the center part. Keep the braid tight and try to incorporate all the hair, including bangs and shorter layers.
Braid the entire section and then repeat the process on the other side. Once the two braids are complete, twist the braided ends together, wrap them up to create a loose bun and pin it in place using u-shaped hair pins or bobby pins.
