It's official: Matthew Crawley — Lady Mary's undying love in Downton Abbey — is once and for all (spoiler alert) no more. RIP, fair Mr. Crawley and your dreamy, swoopy blond locks. We're forever in mourning!
In all seriousness, though, Dan Stevens — the IRL dapper blue-eyed actor who plays the former British captain on the beloved hit drama — ended an era this weekend when he debuted a shorter, darker 'do at the GLAAD Awards. Oh, and not mention some seriously scruffy facial hair.
