Demi Lovato's Hot Pink Hair: Love it or Loathe it?

Last year, the former Sonny With a Chance star transitioned from brunette to redhead to blond within the span of a couple of months, pairing each of these shades with a deep tan and plenty of eyeliner. Now that she's a judge on X Factor, Lovato has wandered over to the wild side, sporting hot pink streaks in her ponytail.
According to Lovato's 10-year-old little sister Madison De La Garza, Demi's Fraggle Rock 'do is not entirely original. She recently tweeted, "For the record, @ddlovato copied my hair. I did it first... But, you know, blue. ;) #ilovemysister." Despite the alleged copycatting, Lovato still won the approval of her co-stars Britney Spears and Simon Cowell.
While rock star streaks can be fun, they're always extremely temporary. Electric hair dye doesn't stick around for very long, making upkeep a serious pain—just ask Katy Perry.
