Professional tennis player Bethanie Mattek-Sands made a play on the word "ballgown" when she showed up at the WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party in this funky fluorescent ensemble.

Mattek-Sands hobnobbed with the likes of Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams in a corseted dress covered in partially deconstructed tennis balls — all new, from the looks of it. The dress also featured saucy lace-ups at the sides and back and featured a floaty matching skirt, all of which made for a spectacular photo opp.

Bethanie paired her bizarre creation with bright tennis ball-hued shoes and a daring tennis ball hat. Has she won your heart over with her whimsical creation?
